11 April 2025 - Tech 4 Tracing (T4T) presented today to the 28th International Meeting of Mine Action National Directors & UN Advisers (NDM-UN28) in Geneva. At the side event panel “What will mine clearance look like in 2030? A strategic approach to mine action innovation,” T4T Chief Technologist Adam Harvey highlighted the importance of distributed technology methods, including open sourcing of software and assets, for reducing duplication and waste in the mine action sector, and for increasing the transparency surrounding remote sensing solutions. In addition to T4T, the panel featured representatives of HALO Trust, the GICHD, and MineSight. Co-organized by UNMAS and the GICHD, NDM-UN28 brings together mine action leaders from around the world to network and exchange views on pressing issues facing the sector.
