17 October 2025 - This week at the training university of the Ukrainian State Emergency Services (SESU) in Cherkasy, Tech 4 Tracing (T4T) installed 3D printing stations for the rapid fabrication of explosive ordnance replicas, contributing to vital work that SESU is performing for landmine and explosive ordnance training.
With these 3D printing stations, connected to Tech 4 Tracing’s growing database of 3D printable ordnance replicas, SESU can now fabricate their own ordnance replicas for Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and Explosive Ordnance Risk Education (EORE) training.
This represents a milestone more than a year in the making. Thanks to support from the European Commission, T4T’s digital fabrication team developed an optimised 3D printing workflow for 3D-printed explosive ordnance training replicas. Over that same period we’ve also modeled hundreds of explosive parts and components, with more added to our collection all the time.
This winter, other SESU schools across the country are also receiving the same specific printer configuration along with the necessary accessories and filament to print hundreds of quality training replicas on site, reducing foreign dependencies and ensuring quality and lower production costs.
